brill is short for brilliant......you say that in Australia then. You're so daft (you don't say daft in Aus either do you )
Ha! "Brill" for brilliant.. LOVE IT! Nah, we don't say daft either.. remember i had to ask you what it even meant :eek: lol.. please speak s.l.o.w. for me when i get there otherwise every second word you hear from me will be 'pardon?' lol

My husband is British, so I've gotten used to the fact that every word has a shortened version. The one that I can't stand, though, is Chrimbo. Who came up with that?? It drives me nuts!
I agree, I mean who would associate Chrimbo with Christmas anyway.
