pasta craft

We hope you all liked the pictures the children created out of different types of pasta at Rainbow group and the music shakers they made at Sunbeams group. Did anyone end up with it all over their carpet.......ooops, but what fun they had making them!!

We put some glue onto the paper, then we chose from all the different pasta on the table

we had pasta twists and some rice

we also had some lentils, and they looked really colourful when all mixed together.

at Sunbeams, we made some shakers. First we drew a picture to make a label and decorate our bottles

we then used a funnel and partially filled empty drinks bottles with lentils. We then stuck our labels on the front and replaced the lids. When we shook them they sounded just like the rain we had today.

Oh those Lentils get everywhere, but they are so much fun.

apparantly a while ago after we played with the lentils in the trough (like a sand pit) there was a keep fit club using the rooms after us. They complained to the caretaker that they had these strange little orange things stuck to them. Can't imagine where they came from!!

so the keep fit people had lentils stuck to them...is tha what you're saying? I would like to have seen that.

Oh I do like the pictures though I don't remember doing anything as fun as that when I was young.
